I don't know anything about brass instruments or music. Is that okay?
Yes! We will help you learn everything from the very beginning. Our tutors have lots of experience with learners of all ages and skill levels, and we are committed to make the learning process positive and supportive.
I do know some things about music. Is that okay?
Yes! If you play a different instrument but want to learn brass, you are more than welcome to attend. Please note that we will start with complete basics of note and rhythm reading, as well as brass instrument technique.
How do I keep playing brass after the program is finished?
Canberra Brass Inc. has an all-ages, all-abilities training brass band. We are super keen to encourage program participants join in term 1 (see "our bands" tab).
